We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect the people who use our websites to do the same. We operate affiliate "best of" review websites and an online store. As part of this activity we publish meta-reviews that gather and summarise third-party test results, customer reviews, technical specifications and prices. We do not ourselves buy or physically test the products we rank. Where we reproduce or reference material that belongs to someone else, we aim to do so lawfully, and we take complaints about alleged infringement seriously.
This policy explains how rights holders can ask us to remove or disable access to material that they believe infringes their copyright, trade marks or other intellectual property rights. It is intended to work both as a notice-and-takedown procedure modelled on the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and as a route for takedown requests under the laws of the European Union and the Republic of Lithuania, including Directive 2000/31/EC (the e-Commerce Directive) and Directive (EU) 2019/790 on copyright in the Digital Single Market.
Please bear a few points in mind before contacting us:
If you are the owner of an intellectual property right, or are authorised to act for the owner, and you believe that material on one of our websites infringes that right, please send us a written notice that contains all of the following:
Please send your complete infringement notice by email to [email protected] with "IP Takedown Notice" in the subject line. Notices that are missing any of the required elements may be delayed while we ask you for further information, so please include everything listed above the first time.
On receipt of a valid and sufficiently detailed notice, we will act expeditiously to assess the complaint and, where appropriate, to remove or disable access to the material in question. We may also notify the person who supplied or posted the material that it has been the subject of a complaint, and we may pass on a copy of your notice (including your contact details) to that person.
If material you posted or supplied has been removed or disabled and you believe this was the result of a mistake or a misidentification, you may send us a counter-notice. To be effective, your counter-notice should be sent to [email protected] and should include all of the following:
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may forward it to the party who submitted the original complaint. Where the matter is governed by the DMCA, we may restore the removed material in not less than ten (10) and not more than fourteen (14) business days after receiving your counter-notice, unless the original complainant first notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the activity in question. Outside the scope of the DMCA, we will decide whether to restore the material in light of the parties' submissions and applicable EU and Lithuanian law, and we may decline to restore material where doing so would expose us or others to liability.
We have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, the accounts, access or contributions of users and contributors who are found to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. We may also remove content, restrict functionality or take other proportionate measures against anyone who repeatedly submits infringing material.
We are not obliged to monitor the material on our websites for infringement, and the operation of this procedure does not amount to an admission that any material infringes any right. We reserve all rights and remedies available to us under EU law, the law of the Republic of Lithuania and any other applicable law, and nothing in this policy limits any other right or defence we may have.
Please do not abuse this process. Knowingly submitting a false, misleading or bad-faith notice or counter-notice may make you liable for damages, including costs and legal fees, under the DMCA and under applicable EU and Lithuanian law. If you are unsure whether material infringes your rights, you may wish to seek independent legal advice before sending a notice.
All notices, counter-notices and questions about this policy should be sent to us at [email protected]. This policy may be updated from time to time, and the version published on our websites is the one that applies. © 2026. All rights reserved.
